Install GlideWay Driver

Get the app on your home screen to start earning

For iPhone

iOS 12 or later

    Open Safari

    Make sure you're viewing this page in Safari (not Chrome)

    Tap the Share button

    At the bottom of the screen, tap the Share icon

    Select "Add to Home Screen"

    Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"

    Customize and Add

    You can customize the name and icon. Then tap "Add"

  5. 5

    Done!

    GlideWay Driver is now on your home screen. Tap it anytime to start earning

Important: Make sure you're installing the DRIVER app (starts at glidewayride.com/driver), not the Rider app. Each app has a unique identity.

For Android

Android 7 or later

    Open Chrome or your browser

    Navigate to glidewayride.com/driver

  2. 2

    Tap the Menu button

    Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right corner

  3. 3

    Select "Install app" or "Add to Home Screen"

    Look for this option in the menu

    Confirm installation

    Tap "Install" or "Add" to confirm

  5. 5

    Done!

    GlideWay Driver now appears in your app drawer and on your home screen

Each app has its own unique application ID - they are completely separate PWAs that can both be installed on the same phone.

Troubleshooting

Q: I installed the Driver app but it's showing the Rider app

A: You may have installed from the wrong URL. Make sure you're at glidewayride.com/driver (not /rider). Delete the app and reinstall from the correct URL. Each URL has a unique app ID that prevents this issue.

  • Q: The app icons look the same

    A: You can customize the icon when adding to home screen. The app names should be different (Rider vs Driver) which helps distinguish them.

  • Q: The install option doesn't appear

    A: Make sure you're using Safari (iOS) or Chrome (Android). The app must be accessed via HTTPS (glidewayride.com). Try refreshing the page.
