Position overview
As a Safety & Compliance Specialist, you will support the processes that keep riders and drivers safe and keep GlideWay aligned with its compliance obligations. You will review documentation, help manage incidents, and maintain accurate records while handling sensitive information with discretion.
This role supports GlideWay's compliance processes. It does not provide legal advice; legal questions are referred to qualified counsel.
What you will do
- Conduct safety reviews and help identify potential risks.
- Document and escalate incidents following internal procedures.
- Review and verify driver documentation.
- Support vehicle and driver compliance workflows.
- Maintain accurate, organized compliance records.
- Monitor document expirations and follow up before deadlines.
- Support regulatory requests and internal audits with accurate information.
- Help maintain internal safety procedures and coordinate with operations and legal teams.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with care.
Required qualifications
- Experience in compliance, safety, risk, operations, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping.
- Sound judgment and discretion with confidential information.
- Clear written communication for documentation and escalations.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with transportation, rideshare, or fleet compliance.
- Familiarity with driver screening and document verification processes.
- Experience supporting audits or regulatory reporting.
